In 2001, Steve was nominated by President Bush and confirmed by the United States Senate to be the General Counsel of the Department of the Army. The General Counsel serves as the legal advisor to the Secretary of the Army and the Chief Legal Officer for the United States Army. Steve concluded his service to the Army in September of 2004.
